Scott Davies
Chief Executive Officer of MCG
Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of MCG, Scott was responsible for Macquarie Group's US asset financing business, based in New York. Until August 1999, Scott was London-based and was responsible for Macquarie Group's technology and telecommunications activities in Europe. During this period, he was responsible for implementing transactions for more than a dozen major communications companies including Cable & Wireless, France Telecom, Swisscom and Telekom Austria.
Before joining Macquarie Group in 1995, Scott spent six years with Hambros Bank's Corporate Finance department in both the UK and Australia where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, primarily in the telecommunications sector.

Mike Buckling
MCG Finance director
Mike is the Finance Director of Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group, a position he has held since joining Macquarie Capital in June 2006. Previously, Mike had an extensive career as a senior finance executive in banking, telecommunications and private equity, with over 20 years experience in the UK, Australia and Asia. Mike spent 10 years with Citibank from 1985-1995 including in the roles of CFO for Citibank in Australia and New Zealand and Chief of Staff for Citibank Phillipines. He subsequently spent 5 years as Regional Finance Director for Vodafone Pacific, which included specific responsibility for Vodafone's corporate development activities in Asia. Prior to joining Macquarie Mike was the Finance Director of Bayard Capital, an Australian based private investment company where highlights included the acquisition of Email Ltd and of Swiss-based multinational Landis & Gyr - the worlds largest electricity meter manufacturer.
Mike is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Tom Bennie
Arqiva chief executive officer
Tom Bennie brings more than 20 years experience in the broadcast industry to his role as CEO of Arqiva. Prior to his appointment in 2002 (when Arqiva was known as ntl Broadcast), Tom was Managing Director of NTL Australia (now Broadcast Australia), taking the company from start-up to its successful sale in the first quarter of 2002. He managed the transition and growth of the business and secured important contracts including the transmission contract for the national roll out of digital terrestrial television for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Before taking up this post in Australia, Tom was Business Development Director at NTL Broadcast in the UK, concentrating on international acquisition opportunities.

Graeme Barclay
Broadcast Australia managing director
Graeme joined Broadcast Australia in 1999 as Finance Director following a 15 year career in accounting and investment banking, including acting as principal business adviser to the Commonwealth Government on the sale of the National Transmission Agency (NTA). In January 2001, Graeme was appointed Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast Australia. In April 2002, Graeme joined Macquarie Group and was seconded to Broadcast Australia as Managing Director. Graeme was responsible for negotiating and implementing many of the value creating initiatives undertaken by Broadcast Australia since privatisation in 1999. |

Clive Morton
Broadcast Australia broadcast services director
Clive has over 26 years of experience in the UK and Australian broadcasting industries. In April 2002, Clive joined Macquarie Group and was seconded to Broadcast Australia as Broadcast Services Director. Clive is a chartered engineer, having worked as an operations manager for the Independent Broadcasting Authority in the UK.

Peter Shore

Executive Chairman, Arqiva
Peter Shore is an Executive Director, Macquarie Group, London, responsible for the telecoms and technology sector within the Macquarie Capital Funds group. The funds currently have significant investments in three UK telecoms businesses, Arqiva, National Grid Wireless and Airwave, each of which provides critical national infrastructure to the telecoms, broadcasting and public safety sectors.
From 1994-2000 Peter was Group Managing Director, Commercial and Consumer, for Australia's major telecoms company, Telstra Corporation. Revenue for the company's biggest division was $7bn, Ebit $1.5bn. He was also during that time a Director of FOXTEL (Pay TV), BigPond - Internet, Telstra Multimedia, Stellar Call Centre Joint Venture, and several other ventures in Australia and overseas.
Peter worked with Investec Australia on advisory roles in the telecoms, internet, and technology fields from 2004 - March 2007. He was a member of the Siemens Australia Advisory Board, 2002-4, and till 2007 an Advisor to Siemens Australia.
His other roles have included that of Chairman and Director since 2001 of Hostworks (HWG), Australia’s leading provider of complex, internet hosting. Chairman of Lonely Planet, the global travel guide and on-line travel company. Chairman/CEO of Unwired (UNW), a provider of Wireless Broadband services from 2001 to 2005, including 18 months as CEO during the company’s IPO, raising over $100m in Dec 2003.
