MCG Entitlement Issue Update – Final Allotment Of Securities

As a result of those stapled security holders who accepted the Final Allotment in the Entitlement Issue and a small placement, MCG issued an additional 66,431,582 securities on 25 January 2005, as referred to in the MCG appendix 3Bs dated 9 December 2004 and 27 January 2005.  The resulting issued capital of MCG is 381,683,136 stapled securities.

The securities allotted will trade on ASX on a deferred settlement basis under the security code MCGNA until 31 January when they will then trade on a normal basis.

Holding statements for securities issued under the Initial Allotment are expected to be dispatched to stapled security holders today.
