SBS Awards BA 8 New Digital TV Services |

19 May 2003 Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (MCG) is pleased to announce the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) has awarded Broadcast Australia (BA) 8 additional digital television transmission services. The key impacts of these contracts will be:
Scott Davies, CEO of MCG said "BA now has 95% of forecast revenue contracted until June 2005. This is a significant improvement over the 89% that was forecast in the IPO prospectus. BA has successfully continued to develop its business as a supplier of digital television transmission services." "This takes the number of digital television transmission services the SBS has contracted BA to provide to 78 sites nationally," said Mr Davies.
