MIG M5 Traffic, December 1999

Macquarie Infrastructure Investment Management Limited (MIIML), the Manager of the Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) today announced traffic numbers for the M5 Motorway for the month of December 1999.

MIG owns 50% of the equity in Interlink Roads Pty Limited, the company which has the concession to operate the toll road until 2022. The M5, which opened in 1992, services the south western suburbs of Sydney.

Average Daily Traffic (ADT) for December 1999 was 62,130 a 12.5% increase over the corresponding month of 1998 but, due to the impact of the Christmas holiday period, a 3.0% decrease over November 1999.
