MIG Eastern Distributor Traffic, February 2000 |

02 March 2000 Macquarie Infrastructure Investment Management Limited (MIIML), the Manager of Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG), today announced details on traffic use for the Eastern Distributor toll road in Sydney. MIG owns 68.4% of the equity in the Airport Motorway Group which holds a 48 year concession for the Eastern Distributor. The Eastern Distributor opened on 19 December 1999. Average daily tolled traffic for December was 20,486. Average daily tolled traffic for January 2000 was 22,296, an 8.8% increase over the previous month. Average daily tolled traffic for February 2000 was 26,174, a 17.4% increase over January 2000. The maximum daily tolled traffic recorded during this period was 32,088 which occurred on Friday, 25 February 2000. More than 70,000 vehicles are now using the road daily (note that tolls are only paid by north bound traffic).
