MIG Eastern Distributor and M5 Traffic, June 2000 |

04 July 2000 Macquarie Infrastructure Investment Management Limited (MIIML), the Manager of Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG), today announced details on traffic use for the Eastern Distributor and M5 toll roads in Sydney. MIG owns 68.4% of the equity in the Airport Motorway Group, which holds a 48 year concession for the Eastern Distributor. It also owns 50% of Interlink Roads Pty Limited, which holds a concession for the M5 toll road that expires in 2022. Eastern Distributor
Average daily tolled traffic for the Eastern Distributor for June 2000 was 27,264 - a 1.3% decrease over May 2000. Average weekday traffic increased by 1.4% during the month while average traffic on weekends and public holidays declined by 4.9%. Interlink Roads
Average daily tolled traffic on the M5 for June 2000 was 64,265, a 1.9% decrease over May 2000, and a 14.2% increase over June 1999. Average weekday tolled traffic on the M5 for June 2000 was 67,523, a 0.9% decrease over May 2000, and a 13.8% increase over June 1999. Average tolled traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M5 for June 2000 was 55,306 a 4.7% decrease over May 2000, and a 12.6% increase over June 1999.
