MIG Eastern Distributor and M5 Traffic, July 2000 |

04 August 2000 Macquarie Infrastructure Investment Management Limited (MIIML), the Manager of Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG), today announced details on traffic use for the Eastern Distributor and M5 toll roads in Sydney. MIG owns 68.4% of the equity in the Airport Motorway Group, which holds a 48 year concession for the Eastern Distributor. It also owns 50% of Interlink Roads Pty Limited, which holds a concession for the M5 toll road that expires in 2022. Eastern Distributor
Average daily tolled traffic for the Eastern Distributor for July 2000 was 26,182 - a 4.0% decrease over June 2000. Average weekday traffic decreased by 4.9% during the month while average traffic on weekends and public holidays increased by 1.6%. Average south bound (non-toll paying) traffic during July was 43,979 a 3.4% decrease over June 2000. Total toll revenue (net of GST) for Airport Motorway in July 2000 was $2.403 million, a 3.8% decrease over June 2000. Interlink Roads
Average daily tolled traffic on the M5 for July 2000 was 63,289, a 1.5% decrease over June 2000, and a 10.0 % increase over July 1999. Average weekday tolled traffic on the M5 for July 2000 was 66,747, a 1.1% decrease over June 2000, and a 12.1% increase over July 1999. Average tolled traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M5 for July 2000 was 56,028, a 1.3% increase over June 2000, and a 6.1% increase over July 1999. Total toll revenue (net of GST) for Interlink Roads in July 2000 was $5.095 million, a 1.4% decrease over June 2000.
