MIG requests a suspension in quotation of its securities from the commencement of trading on Wednesday 20 March 2002.

MIG requests a suspension in quotation of its securities from the commencement of trading on Wednesday 20 March 2002.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2, MIG advises that:

1.

the reason for the suspension is that MIG has not yet finalised the funding arrangements associated with the acquisition of a further interest in Highway 407, which was announced earlier today. These funding arrangements will be material to MIG and its security holders.

2.

MIG wishes the suspension to last until such time as it is in a position to make an announcement to the market regarding the funding arrangements, which MIG expects to be able to make by the commencement of trading on Friday, 22 March 2002.

3.

MIG is not aware of any reason why the suspension should not be granted, nor of any other information relevant to this request.
