MIG 407ETR, M1, M4 and M5 Traffic, July 2002 |

06 August 2002 Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG), today announced details of traffic use for the 407ETR toll road in Toronto and the Eastern Distributor (M1), M4 and M5 toll roads in Sydney. Due to restrictions imposed by a number of legal agreements dealing with the 407ETR, only monthly statistics on Average Workday Traffic can be released. More detailed statistics on the 407ETR are released quarterly. MIG currently owns:

The average number of workday trips on the 407ETR during July 2002 was 10.9% higher than July 2001 and 3.0% lower than June 2002. Airport Motorway Group - M1 Table 2: Average Daily Traffic - Eastern Distributor (M1)
Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Airport Motorway in July 2002 was $120,283 - a 23.6% increase relative to July 2001. Average daily tolled traffic on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for July 2002 was 22.6% higher than July 2001 and 5.4% higher than June 2002. Average weekday traffic on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for July 2002 was 21.7% higher than July 2001. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for July 2002 was 20.5% higher than July 2001. Non-cash transactions on the Eastern Distributor (M1) consisted of 36% of average daily traffic in July 2002 (June 2002: 35%). Interlink Roads - M5 Table 3: Average Daily Traffic - M5
Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Interlink Roads in July 2002 was $273,966 - a 40.1% increase relative to July 2001. Average daily traffic on the M5 for July 2002 was 38.9% higher than July 2001 and 4.0% higher than June 2002. Average weekday traffic on the M5 for July 2002 was 37.9% higher than July 2001. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M5 for July 2002 was 38.6% higher than July 2001. Non-cash transactions on the M5 in July 2002 consisted of 63% of average daily traffic (June 2002: 63%). Statewide Roads - M4 Table 4: Average Daily Traffic - M4
Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Statewide Roads in July 2002 was $195,489 - a 7.6% increase relative to July 2001. Average daily traffic on the M4 for July 2002 was 5.6% higher than July 2001 and 4.0% higher than June 2002. Average weekday traffic on the M4 for July 2002 was 4.6% higher than July 2001. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M4 for July 2002 was 5.2% higher than July 2001. Non-cash transactions on the M4 in July 2002 consisted of 45% of average daily traffic (June 2002: 45%).
