Macquarie Infrastructure Group Rostock Tunnel Traffic First Week: 13-19 September 2003

Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) today announced details of traffic for the first week of operation of the Rostock Tunnel in Germany, which is Germany’s first private toll road.

MIG owns 70% of Warnowquerung GmbH & Co which owns and operates the Tunnel.  This investment represents approximately 2% of MIG’s assets.

Average daily traffic (ADT) for the first week was 7,614.

MIG CEO, Mr Steve Allen said today, “MIG is working with our traffic forecasters to further analyse this initial data.”
