M6 Toll - First full week of traffic

Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG), today announced traffic numbers for the first full week of operation on the M6 Toll in the United Kingdom, 14 - 20 December, 2003. The road began its phased opening on 9 December 2003 and there have been no significant operational difficulties during this period.

MIG currently owns 75% of the equity in Midland Expressway Limited, the owner of the concession for the M6 Toll, and has an option to move to 100% in June 2005.
