15 March 2004 Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) today announced the appointment of Mr. David Walsh as a Director. Mr. Walsh has been appointed to the Board of Macquarie Infrastructure Investment Management Limited (MIIML), the responsible entity for the two Australian trusts in MIG. Mr. Walsh is the senior partner in the Melbourne office of leading law firm, Mallesons Stephen Jaques. Mr. Walsh fills the Board vacancy following the recent resignation of Mr. Tony Bancroft. Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mark Johnson said “MIG is delighted that Mr. Walsh has accepted our invitation to join the Board. Mr. Walsh is a distinguished lawyer of more than forty years standing with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. His legal and general business experience make him a valuable independent Director for MIG. “Mr. Walsh is an experienced director.
