Cintra Increases Stake in Ausol

Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) today announced that Europistas Concesionaria Espanola SA (Europistas) has agreed to sell 10% of Autopista del Sol Concesionaria Espanola (Ausol) to Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte SA (Cintra) for an undisclosed sum.  This increases the Cintra holding in Ausol from 75% to 85%.  The transaction is expected to be completed within the next two months.

MIG notes that Europistas has announced that it will consider the distribution of an extraordinary dividend attributable to the sale of approximately €33M.

Cintra holds a 32.5% interest in Europistas and MIG holds a 40% interest in Cintra.
