Cintra Lists on Spanish Stock Exchanges

Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) notes that Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte (Cintra) listed on the Spanish Stock Exchanges on Wednesday, 27 October 2004.

Mr Stephen Allen, Chief Executive Office of MIG said, “Following completion of the Cintra IPO, MIG maintains its position as one of the largest developers and operators of toll roads in the world with investments in 13 roads in six countries.”

MIG road portfolio includes interests in:

  • M1, M2, M4, M5, M7 in Australia
  • M6 Toll, Yorkshire Link1 in the UK
  • 407 ETR in Canada
  • SR 125 South in the USA
  • Vasco da Gama Bridge and 25th April Bridge in Portugal
  • Warnow River Crossing in Germany
  • Chicago Skyway in the USA, subject to financial close

"MIG's strategy continues to be to invest in, develop and operate roads that are value accretive to MIG security holders and where appropriate MIG will divest assets to realise greater value for our investors,“ Mr Allen said.
