Please note there were two less workdays in October 2004 compared to October 2003. Due to restrictions imposed by a number of legal agreements dealing with the 407 ETR, only monthly statistics on Average Workday Traffic, Average Daily Traffic and Total Vehicle Kilometres Travelled can be released. More detailed statistics on the 407 ETR are released quarterly. Similarly, traffic data for Warnow Tunnel, Vasco da Gama and 25th April Bridge is restricted to Average Daily Traffic (ADT) for the month. MIG currently owns:

Total Vehicle Kilometres Travelled on the 407 ETR during October 2004 was 1.7% higher than October 2003. The average number of workday trips on the 407 ETR during October 2004 was 2.9% higher than October 2003. The average daily trips on the 407 ETR during October 2004 was 2.1% lower than October 2003. Please note that there was one less work day and two more weekend days/public holidays in October 2004 compared to September 2004 in the UK. Please also note that tolls for cars and vans using the mainline toll plazas increased on 16 August 2004. Average daily toll revenue (net of VAT) for Midland Expressway in October 2004 was £130,558 - a 4.0% decrease relative to September 2004. Average daily traffic on the M6 Toll for October 2004 was 50,242, a decrease of 3.5% compared with the previous month. Average workday traffic on the M6 Toll for October 2004 was 52,887, a decrease of 1.3% compared with the previous month. Average weekend and public holiday traffic on the M6 Toll for October 2004 was 44,686, a decrease of 6.4% compared with the previous month. Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Airport Motorway in October 2004 was $156,008 - a 3.6% increase relative to October 2003. Average daily traffic on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for October 2004 was 3.9% higher than October 2003. Average workday traffic on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for October 2004 was 5.6% higher than October 2003. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the Eastern Distributor (M1) for October 2004 was 8.3% higher than October 2003. Non-cash transactions on the Eastern Distributor (M1) consisted of 59% of average daily traffic in October 2004 (October 2003: 49%). Statewide Roads – M4Table 4: Average Daily Traffic - M4
Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Statewide Roads in October 2004 was $213,029 - a 0.9% increase relative to October 2003. Average daily traffic on the M4 for October 2004 was 1.4% higher than October 2003. Average workday traffic on the M4 for October 2004 was 3.2% higher than October 2003. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M4 for October 2004 was 4.2% higher than October 2003. Average daily toll revenue (net of GST) for Interlink Roads in October 2004 was $322,334 - a 2.3% increase relative to October 2003. Average daily traffic on the M5 for October 2004 was 2.4% higher than October 2003. Average workday traffic on the M5 for October 2004 was 3.5% higher than October 2003. Average traffic on weekends and public holidays on the M5 for October 2004 was 5.6% higher than October 2003. Average daily traffic on the Warnow Tunnel for October 2004 was 8,218 - a 32.6% increase relative to October 2003. Please note that the tollss for cash payments returned to winter tolls on 16 September on Warnow Tunnel. on 15 June by 25% for cash payments.
