Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) recently announced a distribution of 63.75 cents per stapled security for the half year ending 31 December 2004. The relevant dates in relation to this distribution are as follows:

 Stapled securities trade ex-entitlement:   23 December 2004
Books closing date:   31 December 2004
Estimated payment date:        On or about 11 February 2005

Final details of the tax components of the distribution will not be available until after 30 June 2005 and will be provided to investors in the Annual Tax Statement Summary and Tax Guide to be mailed to investors in August 2005. However, it is expected that the majority of this distribution will comprise "deferred tax" components and the residual will primarily comprise "discount capital gains".
