Westlink M7 To Open Before Christmas

Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) notes that Westlink M7 has advised that it anticipates opening to traffic before Christmas 2005 – eight months ahead of the contracted completion date of August 2006.

Westlink M7 is a 40 km motorway in western Sydney. It will link the M2 at Baulkham Hills, the M4 at Eastern Creek and the M5 at Prestons, and bypass 48 sets of traffic lights. MIG holds a 40% interest in Westlink M7.
