How many Frequent Flyer points+ will I earn on my investment?
This will be determined by the amount invested and by the term of the deposit. Points can be calculated on the Reward Point Calculator or by calling 13 62 74.
What investment terms are available?
From six months to three years. For terms of over three years please call 13 62 74.
How much can I invest?
Any amount from $10,000 to $5,000,000.
What interest rate will I earn?
Macquarie Bank rates are extremely competitive and charge in line with market conditions. Up to date market rates are displayed via the Reward Point Calculator or by calling 13 62 74.
Rates displayed in the rate calculator are for deposits up to $1,000,000 only. For quotes on amounts above $1,000,000 please call 13 62 74.
Are there any bank fees or charges?
There are no bank fees on Macquarie Bank Term Deposits under this offer.
Is my investment safe?
As a licensed Australian trading bank, Macquarie Bank Ltd offers full bank security.
How will my interest be paid?
Interest will be electronically credited to a bank account in your name, on a quarterly basis.
What happens to my investment on maturity or roll over?
Upon maturity, we will repay or re-invest all or part of your deposit in accordance with your instructions. Where we have not received any instructions prior to maturity, we will roll your deposit again to the same term at the current market rate. In the event that a Term Deposit is rolled over, it will be treated as a new deposit and earn more Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. To advise Macquarie Bank of your instructions, please call 13 62 74.
Will I receive an annual interest summary?
Yes, you will receive an annual interest statement in July, for taxation purposes.
How do I open a Macquarie Term Deposit?
- Complete the application form, including your Frequent Flyer number.
- Attach your cheque, payable to Macquarie Bank Limited.
