Macquarie Group Foundation

The Macquarie Group Foundation is one of Australia’s leading corporate foundations, contributing millions to community organisations around the world each year. The Foundation funds community needs in health care and research, education, the arts, welfare and the environment, with long-term support enabling organisations to plan for the future.

Macquarie Group also has a range of policies and resources to encourage and support staff in their own community interests and passions. Macquarie staff provide many hours of voluntary and pro-bono assistance, and serve on the boards and management committees of not for profit organisations. These initiatives provide an additional layer of support to many of our community partners.

Staff who fundraise or make personal donations can apply to have their donation supported by the Foundation which in many cases can effectively double their contribution. Macquarie Giving, our workplace donation program, operates in most of our key offices and allows staff to make donations to the charities of their choice directly from their monthly pay.

Get involved, with the Graduate Volunteering Network

As a graduate you can directly support community initiatives by joining the Graduate Volunteering Network (GVN). GVNs have been established in Sydney, London, New York and Hong Kong. Recent GVN fundraising and volunteering activities have supported a range of community organisations chosen by Macquarie graduates themselves.

All funds raised by the GVN are matched by the Foundation, doubling the contributions to community organisations.

It’s a great way to meet new people, get to know your fellow graduates, help community partners and maintain the significant contribution made by all Macquarie staff.
