Macquarie Wrap Solutions achieves $18 billion

Macquarie Wrap Solutions has sustained its strong growth of the past 12 months, reaching the $18 billion funds under administration milestone this month.

Macquarie Adviser Services Division Director, Giulio Russo, said the achievement was evidence of ongoing support from advisers for the product, which is one of the fastest growing platforms in the Australian market.

Funds under administration have grown from $15 billion to more than $18 billion in just six months.

Mr Russo said the achievement was recognition of the responsiveness of Macquarie’s Wrap Platform to the needs of advisers and their changing businesses.

“We would not be in this position without the support of both our existing and new advisers,’’ Mr Russo said.

“By continuing to work alongside them to meet their needs, we are hopeful that we can maintain this growth and continue to provide them with the best possible service going forward.”

Mr Russo said Macquarie’s commitment to working with advisers was reflected in the 2005 ASSIRT Service Awards in which Macquarie was voted Best Fund Manager for the third consecutive year and second in the Best Master Trust/Wrap category.

“We recognise that the marketplace is extremely competitive and there is no room for complacency in the provision of platform services in Australia,’’ Mr Russo said.

"We are always very keen to hear from advisers about what we can do to ensure we are providing the best possible service.’’

Mr Russo said Macquarie Wrap Solutions had a strong track record for growth during the past four years.

"The market-leading growth of Macquarie Wrap Solutions, which has averaged $3 billion growth per annum during the last four years, can be attributed to our culture of client service and operational efficiency," he said.

“We are focussed on meeting advisers’ priorities and designing systems around their needs to help them run their businesses more efficiently.’’
