Implementation management

COIN's implementation method is a systematically structured approach designed to effectively integrate COIN Office within your business. COIN puts in place various measures to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.

Upon signing, an implementation program will be developed that is customised to your business's individual needs. An Implementation Manager is assigned to assess your requirements which can include data conversion, workflow, preference set up and data feeds and then workout a delivery timeframe to suit your needs.

Training and Relationship Management

Upon successful implementation of COIN Office, your business is assigned a dedicated and experienced Training and Relationship Manager (TRM) that is a COIN Office expert. Your TRM works with you to develop your initial business plan, as well as your ongoing training and development program over the short, medium and long term.

These plans are designed with the aim of meeting the specific needs of your business and adapting COIN Office to your business processes. Ultimately, your TRM functions as your business's guide to ensure COIN Office is used in the most effective and efficient manner for your business.

Unlimited helpdesk support

When you require assistance or clarification on functionality within COIN Office, unlimited helpdesk support is offered to your business at no extra cost. COIN ensures that all the assistance you require is made available to all licensed users of the software within your business.

The helpdesk is open Monday to Friday from 8am–7pm AEST and is contactable at local call costs on 1300 783 603.

Web hosting

COIN's flexible deployment leaves the options open for you to decide what suits your business best.

Flexible deployment options allow you to choose between technology solutions that suit your requirements. You have the option of a server based solution or a web hosted solution.

Our web hosted solution takes away the burden of backups, updates and the general maintenance of running a server in your office. This enables you to concentrate on other tasks that enhance your business activity.

About us

In July 2003 COIN (Coin Software Pty Ltd) was launched onto the Australian financial services market. COIN instantly attracted the attention of boutique advisers, dealer groups and large institutions.

COIN's distinctive approach to financial software was recognised by Macquarie Bank and resulted in the acquisition of the business in June 2005. Chief Operating Officer of Macquarie Banking and Financial Services, Neil Roderick, said he was excited about the acquisition of COIN, which marked the next major step for Macquarie's expansion of services to the financial planning industry. Mr Roderick said "This acquisition will ensure that COIN's dynamic approach to software innovation is supported and developed,"

In 2009, the release of COIN Office 3.0 coincided with praise from boutique advisers when the Investment Trends Survey announced COIN had won the 2008 Investment Trends Awards for Best Plan Production, Best Modeling and Best Reporting. COIN is renowned for continuing to develop enhancements and new functionality for advisers operating in the growing areas of risk, investments and planning.

COIN acquired a 50% equity stake in Outplan who provides outsourced paraplanning services to the adviser market. They are a start up business that has quickly differentiated itself in the delivery of premium paraplanning services with a focus on plan production as a marketing document as well as a compliance document and utilise the COIN Office suite to do this.
