Will my client’s money be locked away for a specific term?
No. Your client can access their funds at anytime.

Are there fees for opening a CMA?
There is no account opening fee or online transaction fees. More information about fees can be found in the Product Information Statement (PIS).

How do I open a CMA account for my client?
You can submit an online application through Macquarie Access

Macquarie Access now has a New accounts page which is accessible by selecting 

  • Clients and accounts > Open new accounts or 
  • the Open new accounts button on the right-hand panel.

The your.clients applications will continue to be available for a short period of time while users become familiar with the new process and train relevant staff.

Authority to Transfer Manage your clients' cashflow by consolidating their funds from other bank accounts into their CMA or Cash XL accounts.
Deposit Manage your clients' cashflow by consolidating their funds from other bank accounts into their CMA or Cash XL accounts.
Direct Debit Request Debit a nominated account with another financial institution for regular deposits to your clients' CMA or Cash XL accounts.
Foreign Currency Cheques Use this form to deposit foreign currency cheques.
Income Redirection Arrange for your clients to redirect their income (salary, rental, super and pension payments) to their CMA or Cash XL account.
Interest and Dividend Payment Authority Arrange for your clients' dividend or interest payments from their investments to be paid directly into their CMA.
Overseas Telegraphic Transfer and Bank Draft Request Transfer funds overseas and/or request a bank draft.

New faster online applications with electronic verification make it easier than ever for your clients to apply for a Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA). This application process is simple, fast and convenient for you and your clients. You have control over the application from the start and have the ability to begin the application process on behalf of your client and then track the status of the application as it progresses. 

Electronic verification means that in most cases we can identify your clients online and funds can be deposited straight away1. However, we will require your clients’ signatures and identification paperwork before they can manually withdraw funds or make changes to the account2
