Macquarie's Private Capital Markets (PCM) team is an experienced global team responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors who participate in the unlisted equity markets.

This focus on institutional clients represents a unique, specialised approach, and combined with years of experience has enabled the team to develop a deep understanding of the needs and investment preferences of superannuation, pension, infrastructure, sovereign wealth and other private equity funds.

PCM is well equipped to advise institutions with a variety of unlisted market needs, including:

Unlisted direct investment opportunities in infrastructure, telecommunications, media, entertainment, technology, resources, industrials and other sectors: PCM is able to utilise Macquarie’s network to gain access to a large variety of asset opportunities at all levels of the capital structure
Third party equity in the unlisted market: PCM works with investors to introduce third party equity to projects, including identifying both buyers for assets being divested, and partners to bid on available assets
Advice on portfolio consideration: PCM can advise on investment strategy, currency management and other portfolio issues and challenges.

The PCM team has professionals located across the globe with strong relationships in most regions. This ensures a strong understanding of local markets to effectively identify transaction opportunities.
