Overview

Macquarie provides financing, equity capital and price risk management to producers and consumers of metals (including precious and base metals), bulk commodities (coal, iron ore, industrial minerals and uranium) and upstream oil and gas.

We provide finance to our customers in order to:

acquire properties that contain proved oil or gas or mineral reserves, or lend against existing properties that contain proved reserves to finance an acquisition
develop properties that contain proved oil or gas or mineral reserves. Our funds are used to turn undeveloped reserves into producing reserves.

We target opportunities in the $US5m to $US100m range and provide both debt and equity at the corporate and project level.

We have been providing services to the resources sector globally for more than 20 years. Our team around the world includes industry experts, such as geologists, petroleum and mining engineers. This enables us to evaluate potential financing and investment opportunities, in both the advanced exploration and early development phases of a project.
