The Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA) is a bank account that is Government guaranteed for aggregate deposits of up to $1 million† and currently offers a higher rate of return than the Cash Management Trust (CMT) at 4.50p.a**.

The Macquarie CMA lets you:

  • Manage and monitor your investment cash flow online
  • Write bank cheques
  • Pay bills using BPAY® or direct debit
  • Transfer funds electronically to nominated accounts
  • Overseas Telegraphic Transfers (RTGS)
  • Automate share trading settlements

The Macquarie CMA has most of the functionality offered by the Macquarie CMT but with a higher rate of return.

How to apply

  1. Read the Financial Services Guide
  2. Read the Macquarie Cash Management Account Product Information Statement 
  3. Complete the Macquarie Cash Management Account Application form in the product information statement.
  4. Ensure you complete any additional identification requirements 
  5. Collect additional documentation required outlined in your application
  6. Write out cheque for investment amount made made payable to the full account name
  7. Post application, documentation and cheque to Macquarie Bank. Postal Address:
