What's coming for 2021?

This year, we’re committed to providing more enhancements to your online and digital experience with our portal and platform and delivering more tech updates that help you manage your clients’ cash and wrap accounts efficiently.

Some of the key enhancements we’re working on now and throughout 2021 include:

o   launching a new Digital Fee Form, to help you easily request and collect client consent to the fees you charge on certain Wrap products.

o   enhancing the online reporting capability on Adviser Online, focusing on Performance Reporting, Super and Pension details, Wrap Investment transactions and Security and Portfolio performance reporting.

o   uplifting the Wrap, CMA and Accelerator online application tool you use via Adviser Online, to make this even faster and more intuitive.

o   increasing the development of our digital payments’ functions, highlighted by the introduction of real-time payment processing for the Macquarie CMA.

o   providing more updates to our SMA and managed account solution capabilities.  One of these updates is our new Model Manager Portal (MMP), a portal dedicated to model managers. The MMP will improve the time it takes to submit requests and instructions by combining model updates and instructions together, provide access to self-serve reporting and reduce the use of manual tools currently used such as emails, data rooms and spreadsheets.

o   updates to the Adviser Initiated Payments (AIP) solution, featuring a new look and feel, and the introduction of the Macquarie Authenticator app for you and your clients to authorise certain payments and requests quickly and securely.

o   improving the way you perform account maintenance tasks like setting up a direct deposit facility, updating TFN/ABN and amending your clients’ contact details, so that requests can be processed faster through the replacement of paper-based forms with digital forms.

We’ll be in touch throughout the year to provide more information on the above enhancements as they’re released. 


What's new?

We’ve enhanced the ‘manage payments’ page on Adviser Online.
The recent changes include:

o   New visual indicators: see what actions you need to take and what actions have been completed to finalise payments through the use of our new visual indicators. You can see a visual indicator by hovering over a row and expanding.

o   AIP status link: we've improved the visibility for the payment status and included a link which directs you back to AIP, conveniently landing on the next action that needs to be completed

o   Payment list filtering: you can now filter the payment list by amount, and we've also added an 'All' status option, making it more intuitive for you to see a full list of pending and completed payments. You can continue to search for payments by payment ID, account name or number

o   Deleting payments: easily delete payments from the manage payments page. Select the delete icon and then confirm the deletion of the payment. If you change your mind, you can cancel the delete request.


We've made it easier for you to find ESG investments

Following our recent addition of The Morningstar Sustainability Rating™ and The Morningstar Low Carbon Designation to the Morningstar Fund Profiles, we’ve added these ratings to the Investment Menus on Adviser Online.

Macquarie has also partnered with the Responsible Investment Association of Australia (RIAA) and will show an applicable funds Accreditation on the Investment Menus.

To make it easier for advisers to find ESG investments, we’ve added a separate tab on the Investment Menu showing funds with 4 and 5 Morningstar Sustainability Rating™ and or a RIAA Accreditation.


Watch and learn: new videos on Help Centre 

We’ve created a help centre article, ‘How do I use Adviser Online?’ which contains all of our training videos to help you use Adviser Online and perform common admin functions for your clients on our platform. Some recent videos just added include:

  1. How do I make an election for eligible clients on the corporate action calendar
  2.  How do I amend the DRP elections for my client?
  3.  Can I set up Automatic Income Redirection and SMA Income Redirection
  4.  How do I submit an application for an upcoming float or placement?
  5.  How do I change the asset allocation on my client's account

We now have a total of 35 videos available on Adviser Help Centre for you to view.


Are you using a Voice ID?

Voice ID provides you with a quick way to verify your identity when you call us.

Voice ID is available as a secure method that allows you to use your voice to verify your identity when you call us. You can enrol for Voice ID the next time you call us.

When this is set up, simply call and when you speak your ID will be quickly checked, without needing to complete a security check. 


Are your client's contact details up-to-date?

It’s important we have your clients’ current contact information to ensure their experience using our products and services is as best as it can be and help reduce the risk of fraud on their accounts.

Without up-to-date details, features that add both security and efficiency, such as Adviser Initiated Payments (AIP), are restricted. We encourage you to check with your clients if they have their current email and mobile on file with us and provide this to us when their details change.
