We’ve made a number of improvements to your online experience, including updates to Adviser Online, the online account opening tool and some bug fixes. We’re also pleased to confirm we’re accepting most forms now via DocuSign.

What's new?

Electronic signature using DocuSign® is now live

We now accept most forms and applications via DocuSign®. Previously we required wet signatures and we’ve made it easier by accepting DocuSign® for you to operate your business digitally.

By choosing DocuSign®, we require the following to be submitted to us:

  • The form signed with the authoriser’s DocuSign® signature;
  • The certificate of completion issued by DocuSign®; and
  • The request must come from the client’s email address or from an email address that aligns with adviser’s email domain

A new-look Wrap Cash Transaction Report is live on Adviser Online

We’ve launched a new report for Adviser Online so you can see your clients’ wrap cash transactions and SMA transactions more easily. You can also filter the transactions (cash vs SMA), download the transactions in CSV format and generate / print a transaction report.

Client details now visible in your Adviser Summary emails

Currently when you receive a confirmation email from a Cash Management Account (CMA), Macquarie Online Trading (MOT) or Cash Management Accelerator Account (CMAA), it isn’t clear who the application has been completed by. We’ve recognised this and made the enhancement for these emails to include your clients’ details. This means when all applying clients have completed their application, you’ll know exactly who this is from.

Enhanced Portfolio Review Report (PRR) detail section to improve your reporting

We’ve updated the Portfolio detail section of the PRR to improve your experience with clients that hold Separately Managed Accounts (SMA). By providing you with additional information at the look through level, you’ll now see Growth, Income and Security Performance (only MWR) values for SMA underlying securities.

This means you’ll no longer need to generate multiple reports to attain SMA details separately to the rest of your client's portfolio’s. 

Recent fixes to improve your Adviser Online experience

We know not everything works perfectly all the time and there’s often small things that may need fixing or improving. We’re listening and will continue to implement fixes and updates to Adviser Online based on your feedback. Most recently, we have:

  • improved how you filter on the ‘wrap groups’ page – the results on the page now display correctly when sorting by Group name
  • fixed some product names that weren’t displaying correctly in the product dropdown lists and in the filtering section on the account and transaction list pages
  • updated the ‘Gross monthly’ and ‘yearly payment’ fields in the pension details section of the account details page. Note other pension details and values were not affected.

The updates are a direct result of advisers contacting us using the feedback tool via Adviser Online. Please keep your feedback coming to help us continuously improve your online experience.

Adviser Online enhancements coming soon

Client overview and client search are coming soon to Adviser Online

We’re constantly looking at ways to enhance your user experience when using our platforms such as Adviser Online. Soon you’ll be able to search for clients, in addition to your accounts and wrap groups through the top navigation search bar in Adviser Online.

When you click on a client from the search bar, you’ll land on their client overview page with further details.

Open an account via Adviser Online

The following type of accounts will be able to be opened from within Adviser Online:

  • Cash Management Accounts
  • Term Deposits
  • Macquarie Online Training
  • Wrap Account Opening

When this is released, you’ll no longer need to go to Macquarie Access to open accounts.

Retrieve your forgotten password from the login/logout page

You’ll soon be able to self-serve and retrieve your Macquarie ID in Adviser Online. This enhancement means you’ll also receive email notifications for the following situations:

  • When you pass the ‘Forgotten your Macquarie ID’ questions to retrieve your Macquarie ID.
  • When your account has been locked due to login credentials being entered in incorrectly five times.
  • When your account has been locked due to Secure Code being incorrectly entered five times.

Enhancements being made to Request Centre through Adviser Online

We want to make sure that our platforms and services have the same look and feel, which is why we’re making some updates to Request Centre.

You’ll be made aware of what’s changed when this occurs via a ‘What’s New’ pop-up window. This will detail the updates being made and allow you to close the window once you’ve been notified. 

Fund Manager fee rebate disclosures on the Macquarie Wrap Investment Menus

What’s changed?

Previously we disclosed a “Rebate Range” (a range of basis points within which the Fee Rebate falls). We’ll now disclose the actual Fee Rebate value in basis points in each applicable investment menu.

Why are we doing this?

Disclosing the actual fee rebate paid by fund managers on managed funds will enable you to include the actual Fee Rebate in a statement of advice and for your clients to be more informed of the true costs of the investment.

When will this take effect?

We now disclose the actual Fee Rebate on our investment menus. This change became effective 1 July 2020.
