We’ve made some enhancements to Adviser Online including the addition of new training videos and the ability to open a new account for Wrap, Macquarie Online Trading, Term Deposit or CMA, all from within the platform. 

What's new?

Do all your account opening in the one place

You can now open a CMA, Accelerator, Term Deposit, Macquarie Online Trading and Wrap account all from the one place in Adviser Online. After you log in, simply select ‘Applications’, which is accessible from the side navigation, and you’ll be able to choose the product and start the online application. 

Any pending applications already submitted will also be visible so you can keep track of them in the one spot. Learn more here

Experience a faster, more streamlined account opening process for CMA applications

We’ve streamlined the CMA application process so that an account number is generated once you select ‘Save and continue later’ in an Online or Print, Sign and Email application. If you’ve previously selected ‘Generate account number only’ to quickly generate a CMA account number for your client, you can now instead start an Online or Print, Sign and Email application.

Changes to certification requirements

We now require all documents to have been certified within the last 12 months, at the time of acceptance by us. Visit Adviser Help Centre to learn more about certification requirements.

We’ve created a help centre article, ‘How do I use Adviser Online?’, which contains all of our training videos o help you use Adviser Online and perform common admin functions for your clients on our platform. Some recent videos just added include:

  3. How do I create a model portfolio? 
  4. How do I run a portfolio review report on my clients Wrap account?
  5. How do I amend Term Deposit maturity instructions?

Adviser Online enhancements coming soon

Search by client name and access account information faster in Adviser Online

You’ll soon be able to search by client name, as well as account name from the main search bar in Adviser Online. After searching for your client, you’ll then be able to access a ‘Client overview’ page which will display contact information for your client and lists their accounts, so you can more easily drill-down into the relevant account information.

New updates are being made to features on Adviser Online and you’ll soon be able to:

  • register as a new user directly from the log in page
  • download a Centrelink advice report directly from the portal
  • retrieve your Macquarie Access code
  • receive new emails and notifications for things such as when you lock your access code.
