What is a project bank account?

Manage your contract funding and sub-contractor payments simply with trust accounts1 designed to help you meet the Queensland government's requirements.

A PBA is a set of three trust accounts where funds are held in trust for head contractors and subcontractors until payments are due.

For each project or contract you’re awarded, we’ll help you establish three accounts: a general trust account, a retention trust account and a disputed funds trust account.
