The easiest and most efficient way to receive funds is via EFT transfer into your account. If you need to deposit a cheque, it can be deposited into the following accounts:
  • Macquarie Transaction Account
  • Macquarie Savings Account
  • Macquarie Home Loan
  • Macquarie Home Loan Offset Account
  • Macquarie Cash Management Account
  • Macquarie Vision Cash Account
  • Macquarie Consolidator Cash Account.

Posting a cheque to us
  • Post the cheque/s with a completed deposit slip to Macquarie Bank Limited, GPO Box 2520, Sydney, NSW 2001. Click here to download a deposit slip.

Depositing a cheque at a Macquarie branch

You can deposit a cheque by visiting one of our branch locations listed below. These branches are open 8am – 5pm local time, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays):
  • Brisbane: Level 8, 825 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, QLD
  • Sydney: 1 Shelley Street, Sydney, NSW
  • Melbourne: Level 32, 80 Collins Street South Tower, Melbourne VIC

Depositing a cheque at a NAB branch

Deposits at NAB branches are available for the following accounts only:
  • Macquarie Cash Management Account
  • Macquarie Consolidator Cash Account.

Please note: It generally takes three business days for Australian dollar cheques, including bank cheques, to clear.

Note: From 1 December 2020, we’ll no longer accept international cheques as deposits into Macquarie Bank accounts.
