All Macquarie PayID’s can receive real time payments, and the funds will get to your account instantly from payers.

We’re aware that in some cases, customers are experiencing payment declines as the sending bank doesn’t support the standard New Payments Platform (NPP) real time banking service.

For example, payments to your Macquarie PayID from Westpac, Bendigo and Up are known to be declined because these institutions have implemented the OSKO service instead of the standard NPP real time service – so real time payments from these institutions via PayID to Macquarie are not possible.

You’ll need to contact your sending bank for more information on when the capability to send standard NPP payments will be enabled.
