With the majority of our clients embracing digital options, we’re seeing a continued reduction in the number of clients making cash payments at Australia Post outlets. As such, we're streamlining our payment options and will no longer be accepting cash payments for credit cards at Australia Post outlets from 29 April 2022.

How will I be impacted by this change?

If you currently make cash payments to your credit card at Australia Post outlets, you’ll no longer be able to do this from 29 April 2022. You’ll still be able to make payments via BPAY® or direct debit through Macquarie Online Banking, or by EFTPOS or cheque in person at Australia Post.

When will this change be effective?

This change is effective from 29 April 2022, which means from this date you won’t be able to make cash payments to your credit card at Australia Post.

What if I prefer to pay with cash?

We appreciate this change may be inconvenient if you currently make cash payments to your credit card at Australia Post. If you’d like to continue making payments in person at Australia Post, you can do so using EFTPOS or cheque. If you’d like to make payments online, you can make payments via BPAY or direct debit to your credit card through your online banking platform.
