|Old BSB||New BSB|
Use this BSB when you’re transferring or depositing funds into your account via electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Use this BSB when you’re withdrawing funds from your account, including via direct debit.
We recommend you start using them now because from 1 July 2021, your old BSBs will no longer be active.
This means if you keep using your old BSBs after 1 July 2021, the transactions won’t be successfully processed. Some external providers may take time to update their systems with the new Macquarie BSBs – if you attempt to transfer online with your old BSB, it will reject and be recredited to your account within 1-2 business days. We recommend updating all payments and payees with the new BSBs as soon as possible and before 1 July 2021.
Other important changes to your home loan or offset account/s effective from 1 July 2021 include:
- Cash Cards – Cash Cards will no longer be available as a feature on your home loan. If you have a Cash Card linked to your account, this will stop working from 1 July 2021
- Cash Deposits – You’ll no longer be able to deposit cash into your account. This includes via any Australia Post outlet using your Deposit Card
- Cheque Deposits – You’ll no longer be able to deposit cheque/s into your account. This includes via any Australia Post outlet using your Deposit Card, Macquarie Bank branch or the mail
- Cheque Books – If you have a cheque book, cheques you write from it will not be honoured. Please don’t issue any further cheques to prevent any cheque dishonours and dispose of your cheque book securely.
