The following Business Banking accounts can receive real-time payments via the New Payments Platform (NPP) and Osko®:
NPP/Osko payments received on non-banking days will instantly appear in your Macquarie Business Online (MBO) transaction list, ready for you to use. However, these payments will not be reflected in your daily closing balance, interest calculations, or statement records until the next business day.
The NPP/Osko facilitates real-time settlement of payments between participating Australian financial institutions. Find out more about the New Payments Platform. You can also check which financial institutions are set up with NPP.
PayID® is a payment service that enables you to use a unique identifier (such as your mobile number) and link it to one of your eligible accounts to send and receive real-time payments via the NPP.
No - Macquarie Business Banking customers are currently only able to receive real-time payments.
Business Banking accounts cannot receive PayID payments, unless they are made through DEFT. If you have DEFT linked to your Macquarie Business Banking account, PayID is available as a DEFT payment method. For more information, please visit Understanding PayID for DEFT payments.
