You can integrate your Macquarie Business Savings Account with Xero only. For other external accounting software providers, you can manually import your transaction data.
To integrate your Business Savings Account with Xero, you’ll need to have a Xero subscription. To request integration:
Once the form has been processed, you’ll receive an authorisation request on your Macquarie Authenticator App which you’ll need to approve. If you don’t have Macquarie Authenticator for your accounts, you’ll receive a notification to download it.
Once authorised, you’ll need to wait approximately two business days for your account, balance and transaction data to populate. Xero will also send you an email confirming the connection has been established.
Please note, we’ll never ask you to give your Macquarie login and password to any third party to share data.

You can view and manage your current arrangements to share consumer data in the Macquarie Mobile Banking app and Macquarie Online Banking.

If you want to stop sharing your data with Xero, you can do this by selecting stop sharing for each current arrangement.
You can also disable sharing for an account within a data sharing arrangement for accounts held by multiple individuals or for company, trust or partnership accounts by selecting disable. Alternatively, you can disconnect this access in Xero.
To manually import your transactions into an accounting software, you’ll need to generate a transaction report in Macquarie Online Banking.
You can then manually import your transaction report into your accounting software.
Import instructions will vary depending on the type of accounting software you’re using. If you’re having trouble uploading your report, you’ll need to contact your accounting software provider for support.
