How do I access the Investment Menus?

You can access the Investment Menus through Adviser Online. 

  1. Log in to Adviser Online
  2. Click the Investment menu button on the right-hand side of Adviser Online home page
  3. Select either Macquarie Wrap IDPS Investment Menu or Super and Pension Investment Menu.

Alternatively, you can access the Investment Menus via Investment menu update.

What's in the Investment Menu?

The Investment Menu shows you information about eligible investments. You can see details about: 

  • Transaction and Other Costs
  • Indirect Cost Ratio (ICR)
  • Buy and Sell Spreads
  • Distributions
  • Rebate Range (if applicable)

What are the investment limits for Super and Pension accounts?

Investment limits are restrictions placed on certain investments at the point of purchase. They manage risk in Super and Pension accounts by managing investment exposures. They do this in accordance with investment strategies as outlined in the applicable Super and Pension product disclosure statement.

You can find the investment limits for Super and Pension accounts in the respective Product Disclosure Statements (PDS).

Investment limits for specific assets

You can confirm the investment limits for each asset in the Super & Pension Investment Menu, available through Adviser Online. 

  • Log in to Adviser Online
  • Click the Investment menu button on the right-hand side of Adviser Online home page
  • Select Super and Pension Investment Menu.

Or it can be accessed via Super Investment Menu.


 

What are the maximum amounts for a Super and Pension account?

You can invest up to the following maximum amounts for your clients with Super and Pension accounts:

  • Any single security:
    • Within the S&P/ASX100 - 25%
    • Within the S&P/ASX200 (and not in the S&P/ASX100) - 15%
    • Outside the S&P/ASX200 - 10%
  • All securities outside the S&P/ASX200 (in total) - 40%
  • All securities outside the S&P/ASX300 index - 20%
  • All securities in any single S&P/ASX Global Industry Classification 
    System (CIGS) industry group - 50%
  • All options - 25%
  • All options and warrants - 25All securities outside the S&P All Ordinaries index with insufficient 
    liquidity - 0%

The investment limits applied to individual eligible investments are subject to change from time to time at the discretion of the Trustee. The Trustee overrides or imposes limits additional to those described above where it believes this is consistent with the best interests of members.

Please note, not all listed securities are available on the Super/Pension menu. Please check the eligible investments tab on the menu to confirm availability. If unavailable, please contact us via live chat.

How do I check investment limit status?

You can check the investment limit status of any account through Adviser Online. To check your client’s account is within the investment limit:

  1. Log in to Adviser Online
  2. Select Transacting from the menu under the Macquarie icon and click Portfolio transacting
  3. Search for the account using either the account name or number
  4. Select New Transaction and select the transaction type you want from the dropdown list
  5. Enter in the trade details and select Continue
  6. Click Options and select Check compliance.

From here, any trades outside the limits will appear in red text underneath the account details.

What happens if I trade outside investment limits?

If your client is outside of their investment limit, you won’t be able to trade any more of that asset. You will see an error message.

What Investment Menus are available on Macquarie Consolidator II?

Macquarie Consolidator II can meet the evolving needs of your clients throughout their wealth journey, with two Investment Menus available:

Macquarie Consolidator II - Engage

  • A cost-effective solution with a limited menu of products
  • Designed to suit clients with less complex investment needs.

The Engage Investment Menu includes:

  • Macquarie Access Multi Asset Portfolios - Risk profile-based Macquarie Investment Management Index Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
  • Macquarie Evolve Multi Asset Portfolios - Risk profile-based Macquarie Investment Management Active SMAs.
  • Sustainability-themed SMAs with Pendal and Dimensional.

Macquarie Consolidator II - Elevate

  • Tiered, portfolio-based pricing with fee aggregation
  • Designed for clients with evolving complexity and diversification needs.

What are the insurance options in Super Consolidator II?

The insurance menu available for Macquarie Super Consolidator II product is the same as the closed Consolidator product, with four independent providers offering retail insurance policies (OnePath, AIA, TAL and Zurich). 

There is no difference in the insurance options offered between the Consolidator II – Engage and Consolidator II – Elevate Investment Menus. If clients perform a product switch or move between Engage and Elevate Investment Menus, their insurance arrangements are maintained.

Is client reporting different for each Investment Menu?

The same portfolio and client reports are available in the Consolidator II – Engage Investment Menu and the Consolidator II – Elevate Investment Menu.
