How can my customer switch between Basic and Offset Home Loans?

Your customer can organise to switch between Basic and Offset Home Loans via chat in their Macquarie Online Banking and Macquarie Mobile Banking app.

What are the requirements for switching from a Basic Home Loan to an Offset Home Loan?

Please note, to switch from a Basic Home Loan to an Offset Home Loan:

  • all borrowers must be living in Australia and have a current Australian residential address
  • all borrower must be considered an Australian resident for tax purposes
  • borrowers must not be a company or trust, and
  • at least one borrower has opened a transaction account in Macquarie Online Banking or the Macquarie Mobile Banking app, using the same Macquarie IDs that their home loan is linked to.
