What are back channel messages (BCM)?

Back channel messages (BCMs) are our way of keeping you up to date on the status of your customer's loan application and how we communicate with you if we need more information to help assess the loan. They can be sent to inform you of the progress of an application and request additional information from you to help assess the application.

You’ll need to set your BCM preferences in either your aggregator software or directly in ApplyOnline.

How can I receive and view updates via BCM?

To stay updated on the status of your customer's loan you can opt in to receive your BCMs via email or SMS or both. To receive a BCM you'll need to:

  1. Ensure your details are correct in ApplyOnline, and
  2. Activate BCMs in ApplyOnline.

How do I view status updates and BCMs via Macquarie Broker Portal?
