Check application in broker portal

You can use our Broker Portal to keep track of in-progress home loan applications. Once you’ve registered your support staff, they’ll also be able to check the application.

All applications are shown on the application list page:

  1. On the home page, in the application section, select View all your applications
  2. On the application list page, select the application you are interested in. You can sort the applications by date or name
  3. On the application page, status will be shown on top of the page
  4. For high level status look at the status tracking bar
  5. For detailed status look at the section below the bar
  6. Further information on tracking can be found on the bottom of the page under bank channel messages.

You can adjust how you view them, for example, by active applications, applications requiring a broker action, or by completed applications.

When an action is required, a request for documents or upcoming expiry reminders are the most common action required.

If the application status looks incorrect, you or your support staff can contact us via live chat in our Broker Portal.

Processing times

You can view our processing times online, and we also send our processing times to all accredited brokers once a week via email.

Application updates

Throughout your application lifecycle, we'll send detailed Back Channel Messages (BCMs) to you to communicate key updates including status, outstanding items, or queries. You and your support staff can also access all your BCMs in the Macquarie Broker Portal.

 You’ll receive BCMs for application updates up until formal approval.

Pending applications

Most commonly, applications are pending due to missing supporting documents or other key items.

To see your latest status update including outstanding items, please refer to the most recent Back Channel Message (BCM) from Macquarie or Macquarie Broker Portal.

If you’ve provided an alternate/exception document to what was requested and the application status on our portal hasn’t been updated as expected, please contact us via live chat in our Broker Portal.

Withdraw an application

To withdraw an application, you’ll need to contact us via live chat in Broker Portal. You’ll need your APP number and reason for withdrawal.
