What is multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor authentication is a secure way to verify you and your account activity.

A verification will be sent to you as a secure code via SMS to your mobile phone, or if you use Macquarie Authenticator, you have the option to approve via an actionable push notification or a rolling code.

Do I need to set up multi-factor authentication?

Yes, you’ll need to have multi-factor authentication in place to use both online and mobile banking with Macquarie.

  4. Select Confirm
  5. Choose three secret questions and enter the answers to them
  6. Select Continue.

If you’re not presented with a registration page:
