Increase or decrease your credit card limit

You can apply to increase your credit card limit if you meet one of the below criteria:

• You have a Macquarie home loan
• You’re a Macquarie Business Banking client
• You’re a Macquarie Private Bank client.

We’re not currently accepting limit increase applications from other credit card customers.

An application for a credit limit increase will be assessed by us in accordance with our credit criteria.

You can decrease your credit limit at any time by following the below steps:

On Macquarie Online Banking:

1. Hover over your credit card account
2. Select I want to
3. Select View account details in the menu drop-down
4. Select Decrease limit. This appears on the right of the screen next to Account summary.

On the Macquarie Mobile Banking app:

1. Click on your credit card account from the account list
2. Select the I want to button
3. Select View account details in the menu
4. Scroll down then select Credit limit decrease.

Choosing between the Macquarie Rewards program and the Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards program does not affect the minimum credit limit of a credit card.
