Credit cards may be blocked for a number of reasons, including: 

  • We’ve detected suspicious or potentially fraudulent transactions and have blocked your card as a preventative measure
  • Cash withdrawals have been made on your account which:

    • appear suspicious or out of step with normal activity on your account, or
    • exceed your credit limit.

If you find that your credit card is blocked, we’ll be in contact with you. However, please get in touch with one of our consultants using live chat, if you would like to find out further information before we get in touch.

For your security, we may not notify you prior to blocking your card. If your card has been blocked by us and you contact us to verify the transactions are as expected, we can easily remove the block on the card for you.
