What is Macquarie Connect?

Macquarie Connect is our automated data sharing service that seamlessly links your accounts directly with your business management software.

It provides you with complete control and visibility over how you share your business banking data. This ensures you have easy access to account and transaction information within the software of your choice.

How do I set up Macquarie Connect?

  1. Set up data sharing permissions to let us know who should securely share your data, then
  2. Initiate data sharing in your business management software to allow for the automatic downloading of daily transaction files from your bank accounts.

Step 1: Set up data sharing permissions

  1. Complete the Data Sharing Permissions Form
    • To make sure we process your form correctly, it’s critical that you complete the following fields:
      • Name of entity – which entities you’d like to share data for (e.g. XYZ Pty Ltd)
      • Name of software – the business management software currently used for each entity
      • ACN or ABN – the Australian Company Number (ACN) or Australian Business Number (ABN) for each entity
      • Individual name – the names of the individuals you’re authorising to share your business banking data
      • Macquarie ID – the Macquarie ID for each individual (this must be a Macquarie ID with access to active business banking accounts).
    • Please nominate at least two key people in your business to share your data (see eligibility criteria)
  2. Email the completed form to business@macquarie.com.

Step 2: Initiate data sharing

You’ll need to start the process of sharing data from within your business management software, and complete authorisation via the Macquarie Authenticator app.

Who can use Macquarie Connect?

Macquarie Connect is currently only available if your business management software has integrated with us.

If you’re unsure whether your software is integrated with Macquarie Connect, we recommend reaching out to your relationship manager. They’ll be able to confirm if your software is compatible with Macquarie Connect.

If your software isn’t currently integrated, your relationship manager can also discuss alternative solutions or next steps to help your business take advantage of Macquarie Connect.
