Your security is a top priority for us, and we're dedicated to keeping your data safe whenever you use Macquarie Connect.

We use robust security procedures and technology to protect your information, especially as it's transmitted to your software provider through our secure APIs. You can always learn more about our approach in our Privacy Statement and Macquarie’s Privacy Policy.

Think of it as a secure handover. Once your data arrives safely in your chosen software or your own systems, the responsibility for its security is then managed by you or your provider.

Macquarie Connect lets you share the following business banking data with your software providers:

• Account details such as your account name, account number and account balance.
• Transaction information such as the date of transactions, amount credited or debited and simple categorisation of the transaction (e.g. whether the transaction is a fee or interest).

As part of our commitment to keeping your account data safe, you’ll need to approve any data sharing requests through Macquarie Authenticator and renew your data sharing agreement every 12 months via your business management software.
