You can close your PayID at any time.

Macquarie Mobile Banking app
  1. Go to Settings and select PayID
  2. Click on the options button, and select Close your PayID
  3. A confirmation page will be shown. Click on Close
  4. You will be asked to verify yourself
  5. Once you successfully verify yourself, your PayID close request will be lodged and actioned.

Macquarie Online Banking
  1. Select settings image.png icon from the side menu, or first click on the icon in top left-hand corner to display the side menu
  2. Select Manage PayID
  3. Click on the options icon, and select Close your PayID
  4. A confirmation page will be shown. Click on Confirm
  5. You will be asked to verify yourself
  6. Once you successfully verify yourself, your PayID close request will be lodged and actioned.

Closing your PayID is generally effective immediately, unless we notify you otherwise.

If you have enabled push notifications, you will receive an alert once your PayID has been closed.
