What if I can’t order a replacement card online or in the app?

If you’re unable to order a replacement debit or credit card through Macquarie Online Banking or the Macquarie Mobile Banking app,  contact us via chat to request a card replacement. We're unable to process card replacement requests received over the phone or from an additional credit cardholder.

If you are unable to chat with us, you'll need to complete the Card Replacement Request form and email the form to:

Please use your email address and contact information registered to your account or your request will be delayed.

Additional credit cardholders

If you're an additional cardholder, you will need the primary cardholder to request a replacement card for you via chat or the Card Replacement Request form.

What happens when my card expires?

Here’s what you need to know if your credit or debit card has expired or will soon expire:

  • Your card will continue to work until the end of the expiry month.
  • We usually send you a new card to the address registered to your account 2 to 4 weeks before your current card expires.
  • If it's the second week of the expiry month and you haven't received your new card, please verify your contact information and request a replacement card online.
  • If you need a new card sooner, complete a Card Replacement Request form or contact us via chat. Once you receive and activate your replacement card, you'll need to update any direct debits with your new card details.
  • Your replacement card will be automatically added to Apply or Google Pay if your old card was already there. This means you won't need to wait for the physical card to arrive to begin transacting.
