In their latest webinar, Head of Digital Wealth Experience, Adam Hett, and Head of Wrap Platform, Michelle Weber, shared a detailed view of our technology roadmap for advisers, defined by four core and integrated themes:
1. Security
At Macquarie, keeping clients’ funds protected from fraud and scams is an absolute priority, and will continue to be embedded in everything we do.
We are especially focused on Macquarie Authenticator, as the foundation for efficient and secure client approvals, together with specialist detection technology to prevent fraud before it begins.
2. Flexible service
We’ve evolved our service model to digital-first, with the ultimate goal of getting advisers and support staff the answers they need in a more secure, fast and efficient way. It was a bold move, and we appreciate the time advisers took to work through the initial rollout with us.
We’re continuing to focus on getting advisers and support staff the answers they need, when they need them – ranging from instant support with Adviser Help Centre, to a flexible chat experience, to an outbound call for complex enquiries.
Feedback from advisers is core to how we design our technology roadmap. You can learn more about how advisers are shaping our service model here.
3. Digitising paper forms
We’re continually rolling out end-to-end digital forms to replace paper-based processes. Our goal is to help advisers more seamlessly meet their clients’ needs, while also reducing errors and saving time on manual inputs.
For example, we recently digitised super rollovers from external accounts, which you can watch a short demo of with Adam here.
4. One portal: Adviser Online
We’re creating a singular digital experience for advisers and support staff with Adviser Online by transferring and uplifting functionality from Wrap Online. This will be a core focus over the next 12 months, as we bring portfolio transacting capabilities into Adviser Online, followed closely by other high-priority and high-use features.
We’ll continue to ensure that as we transfer features over, there is a transition period where those features are available in both platforms in parallel, before we decommission them from Wrap Online. As always, we welcome and appreciate feedback from advisers, as we continue to evolve the Adviser Online experience.
