What’s Macquarie Authenticator?

Macquarie Authenticator is our most secure verification method. It’s a standalone mobile app that sends you actionable push notifications to verify certain actions and account changes you've made in Adviser Online. Macquarie Authenticator sits alongside Adviser Online.

The Macquarie Authenticator app:

  • sends push notifications to allow you to approve or deny certain actions and account changes in real-time, or
  • provides codes that are available 24/7 without the reliance of a cellular or data network, overcoming internet or SMS issues when you’re travelling overseas. Please note your client can only use codes to approve payments they initiate themselves via Macquarie Online Banking or Macquarie Mobile Banking.
