Download the Macquarie Authenticator app

There are a number of ways to download Macquarie Authenticator:

From the app store

The Macquarie Authenticator app (Authenticator app) is available for Apple iOS and Android devices and is free to download from your app store – just search for Macquarie Authenticator on your mobile device, download the application and complete the registration process.
 

Scan the QR code

If you haven’t downloaded and registered for the Authenticator app, you won’t be able to continue to use Adviser Online.

Registered user

If you’ve already registered for Adviser Online, but haven’t downloaded and registered the Authenticator app, you can download the app by scanning the QR code in Adviser Online.

To access the QR code:

  1. Visit  Macquarie.com.au and select Log in
  2. Click Advisers
  3. Click Adviser Online
  4. Enter your Macquarie ID and password
  5. Select Log in
  6. On the Download and register for Macquarie authenticator page, scan the QR code and follow the prompts to download and register with the Authenticator app
New user

When you first register for Adviser Online, you can also download the Authenticator app by scanning the QR code as part of the registration process .

To access the  QR code:

  1. Visit Macquarie.com.au and select Log in
  2. Click Advisers
  3. Click Adviser Online
  4. From the Log in to Adviser Online page, select New to Adviser Online? Register now
  5. Enter your Macquarie ID and mobile number
  6. Select Submit
  7. Complete the verification step
  8. Create your password
  9. Select Submit
  10. Complete your security questions
  11. Select Submit
  12. From the Download and register for Macquarie Authenticator app page, scan the QR code and follow the prompts to download and link your device to your Macquarie ID
  13. Select Return to log in
  14. Enter your Macquarie ID and password
  15. Follow the prompts on Adviser Online and the Authenticator app to access Adviser Online.

Link your device to your Macquarie ID

You’ll need to link your mobile device to continue to use Adviser Online. Linking your device means you'll automatically receive actionable push notifications to log in and trust your browser and verify certain transactions or account changes in Adviser Online.

Set up manually

  1. Click and confirm a 6-digit PIN for your Macquarie Authenticator
  2. Choose to use fingerprint Touch ID or facial recognition to login to the app (optional)
  3. On the "Add your Macquarie ID screen" select Add manually
  4. Enter your Macquarie ID and password
  5. Confirm Important Information
  6. Click Next
  7. Enter the SMS secure code that has been sent to your mobile (If you have already registered Macquarie Authenticator on another device, you'll be asked to verify from that device)
  8. Click Done.

Link multiple Macquarie IDs

If you’ve already downloaded the Macquarie Authenticator app from your app store, you can link multiple Macquarie IDs to the same app.
 

Set up manually

 
  1. Log in to the Macquarie Authenticator app
  2. Click Menu
  3. Click Add new +
  4. Click Add manually
  5. Add your new Macquarie ID and password
  6. Click Log in.
