Can I use Macquarie Authenticator when I'm travelling?

No matter where you are in the world, Macquarie Authenticator is always with you because it’s connected to your device and provides you with notifications in real-time.

Macquarie Authenticator requires an active internet conneciton, either via Wi-Fi or a mobile network, to receive notifications and complete tasks.

What should I do before I go overseas?

Make sure you’ve downloaded and set up Macquarie Authenticator and enabled push notifications in the app before you go overseas.

You won’t be able to set up Macquarie Authenticator if you’re using a different sim card overseas.

What if I'm using a different device overseas?

Macquarie Authenticator may not work on your phone device if it’s still registered on another device. For more information visit Manage devices using Macquarie Authenticator.

What if I'm not receiving push notifications?

What if my phone is lost or stolen?

If your Macquarie Authenticator app is completely unavailable (lost your phone?), for security reasons, give us a call on 02 8550 5666 (+61 2 8550 5666), 24/7.
